Spreadport BBC
The CFE 14 degree Spread-Port head is perhaps the most diverse of any of our Pro Stock style cylinder heads. Available with several different porting programs of both oval and rectangular port design and various valve diameters to accommodate the engine?s bore size. Engine displacements ranging from 430 to 706 c.i.d. have been built using this head. Even with such diversity in combinations all of the CFE 14 degree Spread-Port heads use most of the same assembly components except for pistons due to valve diameter options.
Oval Port Programs designed for smaller displacement engines (under 600 c.i.d.). Applications varying from super-category throttle stop racing to moderate nitrous use.
Square Port Programs designed for large displacement engines (over 600 c.i.d.). CFE fabricated manifold is recommended.
